Final Report from Riparian Practitioner Session at CONNECT 2018

by Jason Faucera

Several partners including OCEAN, Yamhill Soil and Water Conservation District, Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB), Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA), and Oregon State University Extension worked to develop a full day riparian practitioner session with the generous support of the Oregon Community Foundation (OCF).

The day, which was a continuation of riparian discussions the year prior, brought practitioners together for training and peer to peer discussions on topics related to landowner engagement, technical challenges, and partnership in regards to riparian restoration.

More than 80 natural resource professionals participated in the day, facilitated by Amy Stork and Allison Handler from Solid Ground Consulting. A report and executive summary of the day are available for download.
