This session features Cindy Bright and Clint Nichols, who will share their approaches to planning and implementing riparian restoration projects:
Cindy Bright — Conservation Technician and Project Manager, Douglas SWCD; 27 years of experience in conservation and wildlife biology with Douglas SWCD, BLM, ODFW, and USFWS
Clint Nichols — Riparian Resource Conservationist, Jackson SWCD, since 2014

Topics will include:
Restoration strategies and planning methods, funding and contracting, engaging landowners, and other practical considerations for successful projects. Each presenter will share examples from their own work, with Q&A and discussion following.

Goals of this webinar series:
To inspire and connect SWCD staff by sharing practical, transferable skills that can be adapted across Oregon, regardless of region. While individual projects and landscapes vary, the planning processes, implementation approaches, and lessons learned often apply broadly. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn from one another through facilitated discussion and the exchange of ideas.
